Why ABA CON Was Created
ABA CON was born out of the realization that professionals in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis are often overextended, under-supported, and in need of meaningful opportunities to grow, reflect, and build community.
Traditional CEU events can feel rushed or disconnected from the real-life needs of clinicians. ABA CON changes that by blending learning, leisure, and peer connection in a way that truly honors the work you do.

Our Inaugural ABA CON Experience
Our inaugural event took place February 16–20, 2026, aboard Royal Caribbean's Wonder of the Seas, sailing roundtrip from Miami, Florida, with stops in Perfect Day at CocoCay and Nassau, Bahamas.
Attendees earned up to 14 CEUs, with sessions presented by France Fischer Area, BCBA, Elissa Johnson, BCBA, Dr. Paul “Paulie” Gavoni, BCBA-D, and other distinguished presenters, blending expertise with inspiration in a setting designed for relaxation and reconnection.

Who Hosts ABA CON?
ABA CON was founded by France Fischer Area, BCBA, who brings more than 28 years of experience in applied behavior analysis. After reaching a point in her own career where she considered leaving the field, France recognized the need for opportunities that allow ABA professionals to step away from everyday demands, reconnect with their purpose, and rediscover what brought them to the field.
Combining her love of ABA with her passion for travel, France envisioned a different kind of conference experience, one that brings meaningful learning, authentic connection, personal well-being, and a renewed sense of purpose together in inspiring destinations.
ABA CON is a professional conference experience designed for behavior analysis providers and operated through Voilà Travel Service, LLC. An experienced provider of inclusive, purpose-driven travel experiences, Voilà Travel Service coordinates travel accommodations and logistics to help ensure a well-organized and supportive experience for attendees.
