ABA CON Liability & Participation Terms
Presented by Voilà Travel Service, LLC, (DBA ABA CON)
1. Participation Agreement
By registering, attendees agree to all terms outlined here Participation in ABA CON at Sea is voluntary and at the attendee’s own risk. Attendees agree to comply with all event guidelines and policies.
2. Educational Disclaimer
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are provided in accordance with BACB standards and guidelines. Missed sessions or CEUs due to personal reasons or changes in the cruise itinerary are not the responsibility of Voilà Travel Service, LLC or event organizers.
CEU Credit Compliance (BACB/ACE Guidelines)
All CEU sessions are designed to meet the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) ACE guidelines.
Attendance is required for the full duration of sessions to receive credit.
Participants must sign in and out for each session; partial attendance may not qualify for CEUs.
CEU certificates will be issued post-event, typically within 30 days.
Any complaints or concerns about CEU content or providers should be submitted in writing within 14 days after the event.
Attendance & Participation
Sessions will start and end promptly as scheduled.
Mobile devices should be silenced during sessions.
Virtual or recorded sessions (if offered) will have guidelines for accessing and usage.
3. Health & COVID-19
Attendees agree to follow all health and safety protocols related to COVID-19 or other health advisories issued by suppliers, local health authorities, or event organizers. Attendees acknowledge the inherent risks associated with travel during a pandemic or public health concern. Health and safety guidelines are subject to change per local and cruise line regulations.
4. Liability Waiver
Voilà Travel Service, LLC, and all associated parties are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, or other harm that may occur during the event, including but not limited to travel-related incidents, health issues, or disruptions caused by third parties, including suppliers. Participation in tours, shipboard and shore activities, is at the attendee’s discretion and risk.
5. Cancellation & Refunds
Conference fees are refundable minus credit card processing fees if the event is canceled by Voilà Travel Service, LLC.
Cruise cancellations, rescheduling, or itinerary changes are subject to Supplier's terms and conditions.
If cruise supplier reschedules the cruise or changes ports but the conference proceeds, no refunds will be provided. Voilà Travel Service, LLC and affiliates are not responsible for cruise line decisions.
6. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover unforeseen cancellations, interruptions, or medical emergencies.
7. Photo & Media Release
Attendees grant permission to Voilà Travel Service, LLC and affiliates to capture and use photographs, videos, and recordings, including CEU session footage, for future marketing, educational, promotional purposes, or future online CEU offerings.
Participants who do not wish to be recorded should notify event staff prior to sessions.
8. Code of Conduct
All attendees are expected to behave professionally and respectfully. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the event without refund.
Participants, presenters, and sponsors must adhere to respectful, professional behavior.
Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event without refund.
Participants are expected to engage in sessions in a distraction-free manner.
9. Privacy
Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for event administration and communication.
Contact information will not be shared with third parties except sponsors per agreed marketing deliverables.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes related to the event should first be brought to the attention of Voilà Travel Service, LLC.
In case of unresolved conflicts, arbitration will be pursued under Nevada state law.
